As a young man in 1941, Millard Saxton founded the Engineered Products Company working from his garage, in Flint Michigan, making storm door locking mechanisms. His vision was to create a hardware company with unsurpassed customer service, product innovation and reasonable pricing. In the 1960's Hayes Scott Sr. acquired EPCO and rapidly established the company as the first choice among professionals in the cabinet making industry.
