History

For
over 65 years, The Engineered Products Company
has built its reputation by offering quality architectural
and functional hardware. Our early beginnings date back to 1941
in Flint Michigan. Millard Saxton formed EPCO with financial backing
from Charles Comery and worked from his garage making storm door
locking mechanisms. By the late 1940’s product diversification
began to take place and airplane fuel nozzle products were developed
for the Department of Defense. In 1954 Millard Saxton passed away
unexpectedly and Hayes Scott Sr., who was selling and marketing
EPCO products at that time, assumed
operations
management. He became sole owner of EPCO in 1960.
Founded
on an entrepreneurial hard working spirit, EPCO continues its family-owned
heritage and tradition of exceptional hardware products and customer
service. EPCO has experienced extraordinary growth in recent years
through engaging customer’s ideas, diversification of product
lines, and reaching out to growing markets domestically and internationally.
